Exhibit reveals Croquet's past
Croquet is a simple sport, familiar to almost everyone. However, few people are aware that during its 19th-century heyday croquet was deemed by some to be immoral, improper and dishonest.
Yet the lawn sport has endured. Croquet’s resiliency is due to its adaptability. It can be played by anyone, of any skill level, in any location.
